A family of European immigrants, pioneers in South American, four generations devoted to farming at the foothill of the Andes Mountains, in the Tupungato Valley, Mendoza, Argentina.
Ricardo Reina Rutini, driven by his parents and grandparents’ passion for working the land, was at the forefront of the walnut growing in the region, introducing the Californian Chandler variety into de country over twenty five years ago.
Following the legacy of Mr. Ricardo, in 2013, Ricardo Jr. y Rodrigo Reina founded UCONUTS, an agribusiness company engaged in the cultivation and processing of high-quality walnuts hailing from Tupungato Valley. It is aimed at becoming a leading walnut exporter.
